To get started, please complete the commission request form on this page with details about your piece. Share the place you’d like painted, along with the mood, colors, and size you have in mind. You can also attach any reference photos of the location.

Once I receive your request, I’ll follow up to go over your idea in more detail. We’ll talk through the overall feel you want the painting to have, including mood, colors, lighting, and time of day. If needed, I may work from multiple reference photos or adjust the composition to create a stronger layout while still keeping the place recognizable and meaningful.

Once all details are finalized and approved, I’ll send a final summary of your commission. This includes the agreed layout, size, and overall direction.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before I can begin your painting.

Once your deposit is received, I begin painting your piece. I’ll share progress updates along the way so you can make sure everything feels on the right track.

At this stage, the overall direction is already set, so updates are meant to confirm progress rather than make major changes. Paintings will be completed in 2-3 weeks.

I’ll send final photos or we can do a quick video call so you can see it clearly when the painting is complete. This is your chance to make sure everything feels right. Minor adjustments can be made if needed. Once I receive your final approval, the painting will need to cure for 2–3 weeks, depending on the thickness of the paint.

After the painting has fully cured, I apply a protective varnish to seal and enhance the final colors. Once varnished, the painting will sit for about a week to fully set before it’s ready for shipping. Framing is available upon request. 

Once your final payment is received, your painting will be carefully packaged and shipped. Hand delivery will be provided for clients in Washington County, WI.
